Why Fern Beaver
Candle Fern Beaver began as a weekend pour habit that outgrew a kitchen counter. We wanted a Penang room where adults could learn the craft without loud entertainment packaging or mystery oils poured without notes.
The name pairs the domain stem with the candle niche — a small workshop identity, not a corporate line. We care about wick size, cure patience, and honest scent loads more than trend colours on social feeds.
Every batch is logged. If a fragrance behaves poorly in our climate, we retire it. Students hear those notes so home experiments fail less often and jars burn evenly on first light.
We buy wax from suppliers who document composition, and we keep fragrance bottles labeled on every shelf. Transparency is part of the teaching, including flashpoint reminders and load limits.
Visit when you want skill, not spectacle. The beaver works slowly; so do our cures. Harbor Street keeps the door open for questions between classes when the shelf light is on.
